Description
Ferrovanadium (FeV) is an important alloy additive in iron and steel industry. Ferrovanadium (FeV) can improve the strength, toughness, ductility and heat resistance of steel. The consumption ratio of vanadium iron in steel is 20% carbon steel, 25% high strength low alloy steel, 20% alloy steel and 15% tool steel. High strength and low alloy steel (HSLA) containing vanadium iron is widely used in the production and construction of oil/gas pipelines, buildings, Bridges, steel rails, pressure vessels, carriage frames, etc.
Ferrovanadium (FeV) is suitable for alloy steel smelting, alloy element additive and stainless steel electrode coating. This standard applies to iron vanadium produced from niobium pentoxide concentrate for steelmaking or casting additives, welding rods as alloying agents, magnetic materials and other purposes.
